Kate Middleton: The next Princess Diana?
The much awaited wedding of the century finally took place in Westminster Abbey yesterday 30th of April 2011. Kate was a dashing bride full of radiance in her face. She looks stunning and lovely while walking down the aisle while her Prince William looks so handsome in his red office uniform. His smile is so captivating when he saw Kate. Indeed, their love is meant to be from heaven. The twinkle in their eyes is a living proof of how much they love each other.
Millions of crowd had patiently waited under the heat of the sun just to see the glimpse of the couple. Billions had watched their television sets just to see the Royal wedding. It is remarkable how popular the Royal family is. Some says that the humble life shared by Princess Diana had contributed a lot in the popularity of Prince William and Harry. The world loves Diana; her generous contribution to charities, humble lifestyle and love for the poor had earned her a lot of respect and love for so many people around the globe. It is not surprising that people had also adored her son’s Prince William and Prince Harry who are said to have the same character as their mothers.
Their tragic family life story had been open and known to public that one can’t help to feel sorry of how must have been difficult for everyone to be in that situation. Being in a Royal Family entitles one to have the best of the world but also a public and transparent life that everyone watches over. But past is past and the wedding of Prince William and Kate is something for them to all look forward to and move on with their lives.
Many say that Kate is also like Princess Diana; both were beautiful, sophisticated and educated woman except that Kate does not have a Royal descent. Some even say that Kate looks like Diana; and this may be the reason why Prince William falls in love with her. Since Kate comes from a commoner, many say that she could easily empathize with common people and she may be able to live a life of how Princess Diana lived up to. Whatever is in store for Kate as the newly crowned Duchess of Cambridge; is something the world will be watching for. She may be always compared to Princess Diana but that something we all do not know if she will be like her because no one knows what their future will be.
The public had already grown interest of knowing their private lives. They are so popular that we cannot help but get curious of what will be the next story after the wedding? Let’s all hope that the newly crowned Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will emulate the goodness of how the late Princess Diana had live her life - a life of humility, generousness and love for the poor. May their love continue to grow and become the stewards of unity for everyone.
